release date: 19th january 2024
It’s not hyperbole to state that Touché Amoré’s third album Is Survived By is the band’s most pivotal album. Released 10 years ago on September 24th, 2013 via Deathwish Inc., Is Survived By tackles the complicated nature of leaving a lasting legacy and the uncertainty that surrounds that; ultimately resulting in a record about learning to find the validation and love within one’s self. Produced by the legendary Brad Wood (Sunny Day Real Estate, Liz Phair, mewithoutYou), the recording sessions were a lesson in growth for the Los Angeles quintet, as the band transformed from a group of individuals who play hardcore songs to the established headlining act that Touché Amoré is today.

Jack White – Blunderbuss
release date: 26th january 2024
The debut solo release from Jack White, this album is as strong an artistic statement he has ever made. Released in April 2012, Blunderbuss was Jack White’s first-ever #1 charting Billboard album. The LP would sell 33,000 copies in the US that year, making it the top-selling piece of vinyl for the year. The album was certified gold in the US, Australia and the UK, and certified platinum in Canada.
The Undertones – The Undertones
release date: 19th january 2024
The Undertones formed in Derry, Northern Ireland in 1975 and released this; their self-titled debut in 1979. John and Damian O’Neill partnered infectious guitar hooks to 60’s garage, 70’s glam rock, with Feargal Sharkey’s signature vocal quaver. Those qualities came together on their breakout hit Teenage Kicks, whose simplicity harked back to 60’s ideals of when the song was king. This classic debut record infuses so much unabashed joy in two-minute three-chord pop songs, and there’s little pretension in their unapologetically teenage world view.
Del Amitri – Change Everything
release date: 12th january 2024
Originally released on A&M Records in June 1992, ‘Change Everything’ reached No 2 in the UK charts and spawned four Top 30 singles. Starting off as a janglesome Scottish indie group, Del Amitri had developed into a west-coast influenced leftfield pop act, and now with the wind of success in their hair (after the protracted build of ‘Waking Hours’), the group – Justin Currie, Iain Harvie, David Cummings, Andy Alston and Brian McDermott – paired up with producer Gil Norton and crafted a handsome rock album to capitalise on their success. It’s a varied, expansive selection. All 12 tracks emphasise just how important Del Amitri were to ‘the other ’90s’: straightforward, intelligent music, away from the headline fads.
Mccoy Tyner – Today and Tomorrow
release date: 12th january 2024
Tyner’s third Impulse! album, released in 1964, showcases two distinct sessions that highlight the pianist’s versatility. The first session features a dynamic sextet, including three horns and fellow John Coltrane Quartet member Elvin Jones on drums. This ensemble creates a rich, layered sound with Tyner’s piano at the forefront. The second session, in contrast, showcases Tyner’s trio with bassist Jimmy Garrison and drummer Tootie Heath, offering a more intimate and focused exploration of Tyner’s piano prowess. This album underscores Tyner’s ability to excel in various ensemble settings, contributing to his legacy as a pioneering figure in jazz.
Cat Stevens – Matthew & Son
release date: 19th january 2024
Having grown up above his parent’s cafe in the heart of London’s West End, Cat Stevens emerged from the folk club scene to release his debut album, ‘Matthew & Son’, in 1967. It reached number 7 in the UK Albums Chart, supported by the singles ‘I Love My Dog’ and ‘Matthew & Son’ – the latter reaching number 2 in the UK – and elevated him to the status of a teen idol. Simultaneously, Cat’s songs were being recorded by other artists such as The Tremoloes who had a hit with ‘Here Comes My Baby’, also in 1967, which helped to establish his reputation as a truly gifted songwriter.
