Almost Human
Maestro of mayhem Umberto Lenzi (CANNIBAL FEROX, OASIS OF FEAR) takes you on a tour of Italy’s mean streets in this hyper-violent, white-knuckle 1970s crime classic. For the first time ever on Blu-ray, Shameless proudly presents Almost Human…restored, uncut and unhinged! Tomas Milian stars as Giulio Sacchi, a sadistic petty crook who aspires to criminal greatness. With his gang of impressionable weirdos in tow, Sacchi kidnaps the pretty young daughter of a wealthy businessman but hardboiled cop Grandi (the one-and-only Henry Silva – ESCAPE FROM THE BRONX) is in hot pursuit. The dogged detective is all that stands between Sacchi’s gang and the ransom money, and he’s the only hope their teenage hostage has got… Almost Human is a notoriously nasty crime thriller, a cult serving for cognoscenti, with a stand-out score from Ennio Morricone, presented for the first time ever in glorious HD and restored from original vault materials. If you like your cops proper badass, and your villains ever badder psychos, this is the one high-octane, edge-of-the-seat experience you cannot miss!

Baba Yaga
Director Corrado Farina re-edited his film as an exclusive 1st for Shameless in order to show his vision of his film as he intended it to be before his producers hacked it to bits behind his back the day before the film opened in cinemas. Director Corrado Farina re-inserted the footage cut by the producers and took that opportunity to also reinsert prior censors cut. This is Director Corrado Farina’s avowed “own BABA YAGA”, which he had re-edited for Shameless, now this extended “redux” version is presented for the 1st time on blu-ray, finally doing justice to the filmmaker’s unique original vision. Perverted dreams and fevered reality are blurred when beautiful witch Baba Yaga (Carroll Baker) gets her sapphic claws into a beautiful young photographer in this rampant adaptation of the classic Guido Crepax comic-book.

Four Flies on Grey Velvet
The rarest of Dario Argento’s giallo thrillers, released in its original glory from restored vault materials, finally comes to Blu-ray. Who is the deranged maniac persecuting and mentally torturing celebrated rock musician Roberto Tobias (Michael Brandon)? First he’s implicated in a horrifying stabbing and is soon surrounded by other senseless slaughter. The last strange image captured on one murder victim’s eye retina contains the only clue to the demented criminal manipulator. And their identity will take Roberto over the edge of sanity to a shock horror peak in Dario Argento’s classic giallo chiller.
This homicidal frenzy completed Argento’s revered ‘Animal’ trilogy (alongside THE BIRD WITH THE CRYSTAL PLUMAGE and CAT O’ NINE TAILS) that dubbed him ‘The Italian Hitchcock’, leading to SUSPIRIA and his worldwide ‘Master of Horror’ reputation. And Argento’s unmistakable flair for creating fear in lavish style is on stunning show in this slick, sick primal scream – with a shattering slow-motion climax given further operatic violence by one of genius Ennio Morricone’s most memorable scores.

The Nurse
From the producers of ‘Doctor Zhivago’ comes a film that finally reveals URSULA ANDRESS in all her glory! Voted the TOP BOND GIRL of all time, Ursula Andress made cinematic history when she emerged from the sea in that bikini. Not only was this iconic scene crowned “No1 of the 100 Greatest Sexy Screen-Moments” and earned Andress a Golden Globe, but it heralded a new generation of women who wanted and expected more: the ‘sexual revolution’ had started. Andress stars as The Sensuous Nurse, spending most of this romp-com undressed. Screen legend Jack Palance (City Slickers) plays an American tycoon aiming to buy a vineyard in the beautiful Italian Veneto. But the hitch is that the aging owner won’t sign, despite his madcap family’s eagerness to sell and get rich. The old man, recovering from a bonk-induced heart attack, is a randy lecher. So, the family’s outrageous stratagem is to hire Nurse Andress, not to cure the old boy, but for her to… ahem… undress and, hopefully, induce another – this time fatal – cardiac arrest. It’s all barmy, fizzy fun, and the clincher? A SECOND Bond Girl! Luciana Paluzzi, the one in skin-tight black leathers on the rocket-launching motorbike in ‘Thunderball’. Here without leathers. Or anything.

The Sect
Satanic sacrifice, face-ripping gore and a channel-hopping bunny! Directed by Michele Soavi (THE CHURCH, CEMETERY MAN) and co-scripted and produced by Dario Argento: We know their names, let’s experience the nature of their games!
Watch with glee while schoolteacher (Kelly Curtis) becomes the target of a devil-worshipping sect… Soon her friends either disappear, become crazed zombie-like murderers or… get their heart ripped out. Still beating. Some even jerk back to life in an undead bloodletting frenzy! Is Jamie-Lee Curtis’ pretty sister loosing her mind or has the devil come into her? Shameless is pleased to introduce the first ever 2K HD restored and longest ever version of THE SECT, entirely faithful to Soavi’s original vision of occult and zoogenic mayhem. Adding 666 degrees of terror to a Rosemary’s Baby scenario, Soavi blowtorches a diabolic opus that will get you to claw your own face off with fear!

Amsterdamned
A predator has surfaced from the canals of Amsterdam leaving a trail of gruesomely dismembered bodies in Dick Maas’ high-octane, heart-stopping cult slasher-thriller.
As the victims pile up in a series of startling, violent, Jaws-style set pieces, a detective is assigned to hunt down the hidden killer before news of the carnage causes mass hysteria and hurts the tourist trade.
The masterful, clever & darkly witty direction of Dick Maas (Award winner of the prestigious, horror, Avoriaz Fantastic Festival) is mainstream enough to appeal to action thriller fans but also nasty enough to satisfy slasher aficionados ..
This edition includes an in-depth making-of by the Director himself, witnessing the film’s legendary boat chase and other amazing stunts (no CGI here!) which infuses the film with a sense of tangible danger – and indeed sent the film’s lead to hospital for 3 weeks after crashing his boat !
This rarely seen gem has attained a deserving cult status; originally cut by the BBFC, it is now presented as instructed by Dick Maas: uncut and in his original film format.

Papaya, Love Goddess of the Cannibals
Joe D’Amato’s “PAPAYA, LOVE GODDESS OF THE CANNIBALS” is a quintessential example of the maverick Director’s exploitative filmmaking, combining his signature blend of nudity, eroticism, and here, violent cannibalistic horror. Starring the captivating Sirpa Lane, the muse of Walerian Borowczyk and lead of his erotic art-house sensation “The Beast”, sex-siren Lane portrays a journalist seeking a story on a remote Caribbean island where Western business interests are destroying sacred land to build a nuclear reactor. Her investigation leads her to Papaya, a deadly temptress played with wild intensity by Melissa Chimenti, who leads the resistance against the destructive interlopers.

The Strange Vice Of Mrs Wardh
A ‘violent masterpiece’ directed by Master of Italian Giallo Sergio Martino (Torso).
An ambassador’s wife discovers that one of the men in her life – either her husband, an ex-lover or her current lover – may be a vicious serial killer. This beautiful hypnotic film depicts a series of grisly murders, the victims of which all have some connection to our heroine, Mrs. Julie Wardh (the stunning queen of 1970′s Italian Giallo cinema: Edwige Fenech)
Voted one of the top Giallos ever, for its surreal S&M imagery, for featuring plenty of suspense and gruesome killings but also because it this is the film which placed Edwige Fenech (Strip Nude For Your Killer) in the hearts of besotted fans around the world.

Torso
TORSO is hailed by both Tarantino and Eli Roth as director Sergio Martino’s masterpiece. And its electrifying denouement, elevated to the level of Hitchcock, is their avowed inspiration! Made after his uber stylish Strange Vice of Mrs Wardh & All The Colours of the Dark, here Martino goes deeper into sexually-charged giallo thereby becoming one of the genre’s most iconic exponent!
Luscious students, whom we can only assume are studying for a PhD in stripping, head off for a vacation. Luckily for fans of psycho sexual thrillers, a black-gloved saw-wielding killer has followed them to their sapphic retreat and starts effective slayer multi-tasking by mutilating his way through a cast of hot beauties..
This new HD restored version is presented in its most complete form ever, anywhere, with unique new English rebuilds, finally doing justice to this Giallo masterpiece.

Viva
Shameless raises the curtain on the 70’s Sexual Revolution with filmmaker Anna Biller’s exquisite tapestry reimagining the titillation of that era. Defying the preconceptions of so-called skin flicks, VIVA is underpinned by bold and cheeky irony, yet the dead-pan tone never passes any moral-judgement.
Barbi, played by Anna Biller, is a bored Los Angeles housewife who yearns for a life beyond suburban ennui. After a quarrel with her husband, she reinvents herself as Viva, and dives into an odyssey of sexual liberation – encountering swingers’ clubs, brothels, psychedelic hippy communes – climaxing in a spectacular drug-fuelled orgy..!
This world-1st release on Blu-ray, made with HD materials provided by the director herself, finally does justice to this exquisite tableau filled with astonishing attention to details and eye-popping production design inspired by period Playboy magazines.

What have they done to your daughters
The naked body of schoolgirl leads the police to a teenage prostitution ring as vice & corruption explode onto the Italian streets in a blaze of machete-wielding fury.
When suspects in the case are killed by a mysterious stranger clad in motorbike leathers, the police realise that the trail of corruption goes all the way to the top, and set their sights on busting the case wide open. But as the body count rises, the crash-helmet-wearing motor-psycho colours the mean streets red in a bid to stop them.
Massimo Dallamano’s masterful hybrid of giallo mystery and poliziotteschi thriller is interwoven with breakneck chase-sequences and a deeply cool soundtrack to create a landmark in 70s European cinema.
